Estimated Reading Time: 3min

Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival to honour Lord Ganesha’s birthday. The festival begins on the 4th day of the waxing moon period, and ends on the 14th day of the waxing moon period known as Anant Chaturdashi.

In 2020, Ganesha Chaturthi falls on the 22nd of August 2020 (Saturday).

In this article, we share the significance of Lord Ganesha as well as the design attributes behind Imperial Harvest’s Fine Jadeite Ganesha Pendant which is created to help you remove obstacles in your path and achieve massive breakthroughs.

Significance of Lord Ganesha

Lord Ganesha is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. Known as the god of beginnings, he is worshipped by faithful devotees before they embark on any new venture or journey.

Lord Ganesha is most often depicted with an elephant head that comes with a curved trunk and big ears, his head symbolises the ability to think big and beyond.

Revered as the remover of obstacles and the god of intellect and wisdom, it is widely believed that praying to Lord Ganesha brings good luck, an influx of wealth and assistance to overcome obstacles in your life.

Fine Jadeite Lord Ganesha Pendant

To honour the Hindu God, Master David has created the Fine Jadeite Lord Ganesha pendant. The Fine Jadeite Lord Ganesha is designed to empower its destined owner to overcome challenges they may come across.

It also empowers one with creativity, foresight and discipline to create prosperity, good fortune, and success.

Master David has designed the Fine Jadeite Lord Ganesha with powerful emblems of prosperity.

Emblems of prosperity

Pasha

The Pasha (or noose) is welded by Lord Ganesha to symbolise his ability to bind and free obstacles. For career and business professionals, wearing the Fine Jadeite Ganesha empowers you to overcome the distractions and challenges that may be standing in your path hence bringing you a step closer to achieving your desired goal.

Crown

The crown (Mukuta) depicted on the Fine Jadeite Ganesha is the traditional headgear for Hindu deities. Lord Ganesha’s crown is symbolically crafted with gemstones and jewels, known as the Ratna mukuta.

The crown is an emblem of power and authority which enables business owners and leaders to create and manage a capable and talented team with ease.

Sacred Thread

Right below Lord Ganesha’s crown is a sacred thread embellished with precious jewels.

The sacred thread is the symbol of Lord Ganesha tying himself in the sacred laws governing the pure and purposeful life.

It also represents the ‘Dvij’ or twice born, meaning two births within the same life – first birth from the mother and the second birthday by knowledge.

The sacred thread encompasses Lord Ganesha’s vast knowledge and wisdom, empowering the destined owner of the Fine Jadeite Ganesha with strategic acumen and intelligence to overcome business challenges and the ability to anticipate and overcome obstacles in your path.

The Fine Jadeite Lord Ganesha is exquisitely crafted by our highly skilled artisans, stringently inspected by gemologists before undergoing independent certification by gemological institutes in Singapore.
