A first in Imperial Harvest history — every God of Wealth, in a single treasure.

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Five Elements

For the first time, all Five Directional Wealth Gods (五路财神) have been brought together within one wearable treasure. Until now, a collector who wished to honour the full assembly of wealth deities would gather them across separate pieces, separate altars, separate years. Grand Master David has carved them as one.

This is not a larger version of an existing design. It is an entirely new composition, conceived and commissioned so that the complete celestial wealth hierarchy could be held in a single hand — and worn close to the body, every day.

Who the Five Directional Wealth Gods Are

In Chinese metaphysics, prosperity is understood to arrive from every direction — not from a single source, but from the four cardinal points and from the centre that binds them. The Five Directional Wealth Gods are the deities who govern those paths.

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Zhao Gong Ming

At the heart of the composition presides Zhao Gong Ming (中路武财神赵公明), the Marshal of the Mystic Altar — the central authority from whom the other four take their command. He governs wealth derived from direct authority, leadership, and command: the pathway that determines whether the sovereignty one holds in an organisation translates into the sovereignty one holds in one’s wealth.

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Xiao Sheng

The East stands Xiao Sheng (东路财神招宝天尊萧升), the Treasure-Summoning Celestial Worthy, whose Falling Treasure Golden Coin once drew celestial treasures from the air itself. His is the direction of commerce — of active trade, transactions, and enterprise — the pathway through which deal-making and the front door of business convert into measurable wealth.

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Chen Jiu Gong

The South stands Chen Jiu Gong (南路财神招财使者陈九公), the Wealth-Attracting Envoy, who presides over the relational dimension of prosperity: referrals, introductions, partnerships, and the conversion of trust into revenue. His office is formulated in the classical tradition as 招揽四方财运 — to draw wealth fortune from all four directions, letting the sources converge through the bonds of human connection.

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Cao Bao

The West stands Cao Bao (西路财神纳珍天尊曹宝), the Treasure-Receiving Celestial Worthy, whose sovereign function 纳珍 — the taking-in and safeguarding of precious things — carries a dual mandate: to receive wealth from sources the individual did not directly solicit, and to ensure that what has entered does not leave. His is the direction of indirect wealth — windfalls, appreciation, and the preservation of what fortune has already delivered.

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Yao Shao Si

The North stands Yao Shao Si (北路财神利市仙官姚少司), the Market-Profit Immortal Official, who presides over 利市 (lì shì) — at once the profit of commercial transactions, the fortune of favourable timing, and the celebratory capital of festive occasions. Since the Song dynasty, merchants have pasted his image on their doors flanked by the couplet 招财童子至 / 利市仙官来 — an invocation of daily commercial yield repeated across a thousand years. His is the direction of industry: the pathway that ensures each day’s sustained effort yields its proportionate reward.

Together they are known as the Five Directional Wealth Gods (五路财神) — because they leave no avenue of prosperity unguarded. These pathways do not substitute for one another — commerce without preservation dissipates, authority without relationship isolates, industry without opportunity stagnates. Where a single wealth deity opens one door, the Five Directional Wealth Gods open every door at once.

Why One Pendant Changes Everything

The significance of this release is not ornamental. It is structural.

To carry a single God of Wealth is to align with one stream of fortune. To carry all five — in their correct hierarchy, with Zhao Gong Ming presiding and his four directional lieutenants — Xiao Sheng, Chen Jiu Gong, Cao Bao, and Yao Shao Si in formation, is to align with the complete system by which wealth is summoned, gathered, and held.

For the serious collector, consolidating the full assembly into one consecrated treasure removes the compromise that has always come with honouring them separately. There is no longer a primary piece and a set of lesser ones. There is one treasure, complete and whole, worn as a single act of alignment.

The Stone and the Carving

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Close Up Burmese Jadeite 1

The Imperial Harvest Fine Jadeite Five Directional Wealth Gods Pendant is carved from a single block of the finest Burmese jadeite — one of the most revered stones in the Chinese metaphysical tradition, valued not only for its rarity but for its capacity to carry and amplify the energetic authority of what is carved within it.

The piece is offered in five elemental colourways, each corresponding to one of the Five Elements:

  • Green — Wood
  • Lavender — Fire
  • White — Metal
  • Yellow — Earth
  • Black — Water

The colourway is not a matter of preference. Before any treasure is prescribed, Grand Master David Goh personally reads the recipient’s Bazi destiny chart to identify which element is most favourable — and from that reading, prescribes the colourway that aligns the pendant to the individual’s own chart. What leaves the atelier is not a piece selected from a shelf. It is a treasure matched, element to element, to the person who will carry it.

Blog 06.05 The Five Directional Wealth Gods Masterful Craftsmanship 1

The carving is the work’s defining statement. Each of the five figures is rendered in full relief — layered front to back so that the composition reads as a living court rather than a flat tableau. Zhao Gong Ming’s staff, the folds of each robe, and the distinct expressions of the four directional lieutenants — Xiao Sheng, Chen Jiu Gong, Cao Bao, and Yao Shao Si are all hand-finished with exceptional precision.

The Five Wealth Gods figures do not merely coexist within the composition. They are arranged in their correct celestial hierarchy — Zhao Gong Ming presiding at the centre, his four directional lieutenants — Xiao Sheng, Chen Jiu Gong, Cao Bao, and Yao Shao Si in formation around him, so that the pendant carries not just their images, but the structural authority of their assembly.

Beneath the five figures, the composition is anchored by the Wealth Garnering Treasure Trove (招财进宝) — a treasure trove overflowing with gold ingots, embodying the principle of drawing in wealth and treasures from every direction. It is not a decorative flourish. It is the destination toward which all five pathways ultimately lead.

At the base of the pendant sits the Imperial Harvest Emblem seal — the mark of provenance that distinguishes every treasure to leave the atelier, and the guarantee that what is carried has been made to the standards the brand has never compromised.

Consecrated by Grand Master David

A carving becomes a treasure only when it is awakened. This is where Imperial Harvest’s practice of Imperial Destiny Engineering Protocol (御用移星換斗法) takes form: not the passive reading of a chart, but the deliberate alignment of a person with the forces that move fortune in their favour. A consecrated treasure is the instrument through which that alignment is carried forward.

Who This Treasure Is For

This pendant is made for the individual who has outgrown a single point of alignment — the established professional, the business owner, the builder of wealth who understands that fortune arrives through many channels and wishes to honour all of them at once. It suits those entering a new chapter of expansion, and those who wish to consolidate and protect what they have already built.

Worn daily, it serves as a constant reminder that prosperity is not a single door to be opened, but a court to be kept.

A Treasure Without Precedent

The Five Directional Wealth Gods have been honoured for centuries. They have never, until now, been united in a single Imperial Harvest treasure.

Some practitioners read destiny. Grand Master David moves it.

Each Imperial Harvest Five Directional Wealth Gods Pendant is prescribed personally. To learn which elemental colourway aligns with your Bazi destiny chart, arrange a consultation with Grand Master David at Imperial Harvest.
